Economic Conditions for Selected Panel Farms: The Impact of Market Loss Assistance, Congressional Briefing, Washington, DC, November 10, 1998
The near term economic outlook for the representative farms is projected using 1998 yields and prices. The outlook for 1999-2002 is based on the mid-year Baseline update by FAPRI. The Results suggest many of the crop farms will face cash flow deficits in 1998, but most of these farms will be able to overcome their near-term problems if prices return to normal levels.
