Bio

Dr. Klose's areas of interest include farm management, strategic business planning, policy, and finance. His primary responsibility is serving as Coordinator of the FARM Assistance program, a highly intensive extension effort to assist agricultural producers on an individual basis with strategic planning and risk management analysis.

Spanning 20 years, FARM Assistance has been used to provide strategic decision information for over 2300 unique crop and livestock operations across the state of Texas.

Dr. Klose is also a member of the Agricultural and Food Policy Center and works with this group researching the implications of policy alternatives on farms and ranches across the country.

Interests

Dr. Klose is a product of a cotton farming, ginning, and ranching family in Haskell, Texas.

He is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Kayla and Carson.
