Dr. Knapek is responsible for overseeing, updating, and maintaining the database of almost 100 representative crop and livestock farms located across the United States. In addition, he has quality assurance responsibilities for AFPC publications and performs a variety of tasks for the AFPC.
Prior to employment with AFPC, George was as an Extension Economist - Risk Management, with Texas Cooperative Extension based in College Station. As part of the FARM Assistance team, his extension education activities focused on risk management for crop and livestock producers. Prior to joining Extension, George worked as a credit analyst at First Texas Bank in Georgetown, TX.

George enjoys spending time with his awesome wife, Trina, and their two sons, George Andrew and Benjamin.
